Within my practice I use a pure white background for a deliberate choice. It offers a clean, undistracted space that allows the personality of the drawing to come to life. The stark contrast between the white canvas and the dark wire enhances the expressive qualities. The fine wire brings a subtle softness and poetic balance to the work. Together, they evoke a sense intimacy and quiet charm.
